03 / Startup Junkie

Ex Startup Junkie.

I left product and marketing.

The ideas did not get the memo.

My brain has always done this thing where it takes two things that seemingly have nothing to do with each other and decides they should probably meet.

So I started writing them down.

Things I’ve been thinking about.

Medicine × E-learning

Why can I learn almost anything online except how to understand the medical treatments and products I’m actually using?

Hospitality × Kodak

What if hotels gave guests cameras to capture other guests — and sent people the moments they didn’t know someone caught?

Tech × Children’s Publishing

Kids have books about firefighters, teachers and astronauts. Where are the books about the jobs they’re actually watching their parents build now?

And there are many, many more.

Some are good. Some are probably terrible.

I love them all.

Also: I love brainstorming product.

Give me an industry. Give me a weird problem. Give me two things that have absolutely nothing to do with each other.

This is genuinely one of my favorite things to do.

Sometimes it becomes a product. Sometimes it becomes a marketing idea. Sometimes it becomes absolutely nothing.

That’s part of the fun.
