The titles have changed. The question usually hasn’t: what is the thing people will actually care about?
I like companies with something interesting happening and a problem they can’t quite articulate yet.
Maybe you don’t know how to position it. Maybe people aren’t understanding it. Maybe you’re launching something new. Maybe your marketing technically works, but nobody is talking about you.
Or maybe you just need someone in the room who will ask the question everyone else stopped asking three meetings ago.
That’s usually where I’m useful.
What I like doing.
Positioning. Brand. Go-to-market. Product marketing. Launches. New markets. Messaging. Brainstorming. Finding the thing people will actually care about — and then figuring out how to make them care.
I’m less interested in making another deck because everyone agreed there should be a deck.
A few places I’ve done the work.
